The week of March 16, 2008, the area around Beck’s Mill received over 7 inches of rain.  The results are below.

This is an early morning photo showing the water up to the edge of the pavement near the mill.

This photo shows the water as it backed up from Blue River, 1/2 mile to the south. Notice how high the water is on the mill foundation.  The mill was not damaged.

Four days later it snowed. We call this one                         “The Ghost Mill”.
